Manpower engineering is working with one of our prestigious partners, a global manufacturing leading brand. With 100+ years heritage, a presence in 40 countries, and more than 300 plants globally, they are considered within their industry as an 'Employer of Choice'. Our client is looking to strengthen their existing team by appointing an experienced Process Quality Analyst, working a 3-shift system: 06:00 β 14:00 / 14:00 β 22:00 / 22:00 β 06:00, Monday β Friday, based at their Newcastle site.
Main Duties
- Ensure that all critical process control parameters are maintained within specification.
- Ensure that all appropriate actions are taken to supply a quality finished product to the customer.
- Identify high-risk activities, events, and trends.
- Work pro-actively with the manufacturing team and use your own initiative based on data and information available.
- Provide a central point of reference regarding customer or Plant-related ongoing quality issues.
- Work flexibly in any work area as far as safety and capability permit.
Experience/Qualifications
- A proven quality background.
- Experience of working in a high-speed production environment.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, SPC (Statistical Process Controls), HACCP (Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Point) and Continuous Improvements techniques.
- NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline would be advantageous.

- Team-player, commercially aware, self-starting with excellent communication skills.
- A methodical and systematic approach to problems.
- Computer literate with a good up to date knowledge and understanding of systems, data interfaces and the operational use of spreadsheets and databases.
- Demonstrate leadership and change management abilities.
