Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and strategic Account Manager – Nutraceuticals to develop new commercial opportunities with our strategic accounts and distributor network in Europe. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, building long-term partnerships, and ensuring excellent customer service by deeply understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions. The Account Manager will oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to revenue recognition, while collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strategic account relationships with customers and distributors.
- Promote the Lubrizol nutraceutical portfolio via in-person meetings, virtual calls, seminars, and tradeshows.
- Identify opportunities to expand business through upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new solutions.
- Capture customer and market insights to drive integrated solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Develop deep product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts, ensuring profitability and superior customer experience.
- Monitor and report on sales pipeline and forecasts, taking action to meet financial targets.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, food technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in sales, marketing, or business development in the EU nutraceuticals market.
- Strong network across the nutraceutical industry (brands, CMOs, CDMOs).
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- Proven ability to build and close new business and develop customer relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
- Customer-focused, results-driven, and capable of delivering B2B sales success.
