Our global IT client has an exciting opportunity for a Consumer Demand Planner to join their Retail Store team supporting EMEA & UK/Ireland markets with cutting-edge devices and services.
You will develop product demand forecasts and manage item life cycle and inventory controls to ensure the Retail Store can realise their revenue and profit goals . Demonstrated by achieving an In-Stock Percentage of 99.0%, maintaining lean inventory stocking practices, and manage promotional periods to achieve budget .
You will have previous forecasting experience – Unit or revenue level as well as previous FMCG industry experience and knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issues.
Additionally you will have extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities and previous experience working directly with vendors, merchants, and supply chain organizations.
This is a PAYE role to start ASAP until 30th June 2025 with a view to extend (maximum total contract 18 months). Paying circa £17.75/hour dependent on experience.
The role is offered on a hybrid basis – you will be expected to be onsite at our client’s office in London Paddington 1-2 days per week.
You will benefit from a 5% end of contract bonus (subject to qualifying), paid annual leave, paid sick, paid bank holidays, pension & notice period.
