What We Do

  • Specialise in complex aluminium and iron sand casting for automotive, motorsport, and aerospace sectors
  • Develop advanced manufacturing solutions using state-of-the-art technologies
  • Focus on lightweight, high-integrity casting techniques that support green energy and electrification

The Role

As a Materials Engineer, you will form part of a small group who are responsible for supporting all aspects of materials engineering and associated Research & Development (R&D) across our wide range of industrial sectors.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Materials selection, characterisation, and qualification
  • Development of new and existing manufacturing technologies
  • Process development and control
  • Component development and testing
  • Failure Analysis
  • Materials research and development

What we are looking for

The successful candidate will hold a recognised formal Engineering or Science qualification and will have demonstrable experience in the relevant fields. Aluminium science/engineering experience is desirable.

  • Engineering/Science qualification (BSc/BEng or equivalent minimum)
  • Knowledge of metallurgy and heat treatment
  • Knowledge of processing and characterisation techniques
  • Material failure analysis experience
  • Ability to get to commute to site in Bridgenorth, 5 days a week
