We are looking for a hands-on Learning & Development Manager to lead and deliver training across a fast-paced manufacturing site. You will ensure colleagues at all levels—from new starters to managers—are trained, compliant, and developed, while supporting continuous improvement and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training on inductions, food safety (HACCP/TACCP), management & leadership, and wellbeing
- Lead and support a team of site trainers, stepping in to deliver when needed
- Manage SVQs, apprenticeships, and external training providers
- Oversee forklift and specialist training (slaughter licence awareness)
- Maintain training records and track learner progress
About You:
- Hands-on L&D experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or engineering
- Confident delivering training at all levels, including management
- Experience managing and developing training teams
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- CIPD or L&D/Management qualification preferred
