We’re looking for an experienced Production Planner to join a fast-paced food manufacturing operation. This role is key to ensuring efficient production schedules, balancing supply and demand, and driving continuous improvement across a 7-day operation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating and maintaining short- and medium-term production plans
- Monitoring performance and adjusting plans to meet operational targets
- Proactively identifying and resolving planning issues
- Analysing data to improve planning processes and efficiency
- Supporting inventory management to minimise waste and meet demand
- Leading and managing a team of 3 Production Planners
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a production planning role (food manufacturing preferred)
- Previous people management or leadership experience is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of planning systems and ERP tools
- Analytical, organised, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
