This industry-leading manufacturer is seeking a talented Category Buyer with expertise in Indirect Procurement categories—including IT, HR, and Factory Services.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Engaging and managing supplier relationships
- Supporting contract negotiations, tenders, and RFIs
- Driving the implementation of supplier agreements
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Procurement Manager/Head of Procurement in preparing RFIs, RFQs, and ITT documents
- Source new suppliers and materials to support business growth and innovation
- Negotiate and implement supplier agreements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards
- Lead and support tendering processes across key spend areas
- Contribute to the development and execution of category plans
About You:
You’ll bring demonstrable experience in procurement, ideally with a focus on supplier selection, contract negotiation, and tender management. You’re ambitious, eager to learn, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a Procurement role—whether as a Specialist, Coordinator, Assistant, or similar

- Comfortable with supplier-facing responsibilities, including visits and ongoing relationship development
- MCIPS qualification (or working towards) is a plus, but not essential
