We're recruiting for an Accountant to join a growing Finance team, offering genuine career progression and the opportunity to develop into a Manager as you continue to develop.
You’ll support the site’s finance function with accurate reporting, analysis, and insight, while gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of management accounting.
Working closely with finance and operational teams, you’ll play an important role in supporting decision-making, driving performance, and ensuring financial accuracy.
The Role You'll be responsible for: Supporting month-end and year-end reporting, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
Preparing monthly management accounts, KPI reporting and financial analysis.
Investigating variances and maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and logistics cost reporting.
Managing Asset Under Construction (AUC) records and fixed asset accounting.
Assisting with capital expenditure reporting and purchase order approvals.
Maintaining strong financial controls and supporting internal and external audit requirements.
Partnering with operational teams to improve processes and provide commercial financial insight.
About You We're looking for someone who has: Part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / equivalent) or actively studying Previous experience in a finance or management accounts role (manufacturing or FMCG preferred) Excellent Excel and data analysis skills Strong organisational and time management skills Motivated to progress your career What's on Offer?
