Manpower Group is recruiting an Electrical Bias Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join a high-volume FMCG manufacturing site in Leeds operating 24/7. This role is ideal for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer with strong fault-finding and breakdown experience in automated manufacturing environments. You will be responsible for reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and continuous improvement across automated production and packaging machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical fault finding on automated production & packaging lines
- Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery (Siemens / Allen Bradley)
- Motors, drives, inverters, sensors & control panels
- Use of CMMS systems (SAP PM or similar)
Essential Skills & Experience
- Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer background
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent ONC / HNC / Apprenticeship preferred
- Strong electrical fault-finding capability
- Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging, or regulated manufacturing
- Experience in 24/7 manufacturing or shift environments
- Knowledge of PLC fault finding (not programming)
- Experience with drives, motors, sensors, inverters and control panels
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000-£53,000 basic salary
- Paid overtime available OTE £75,000
- 12-hour shifts: 2 days / 2 nights / 4 off
