We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join a well-established organisation operating within the commercial oil sector, supporting the handling, storage, and movement of oil-based products. This is a hands-on and physically demanding role, suitable for candidates who are comfortable combining forklift operation with manual warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities- Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Organising and maintaining a clean and well-structured warehouse
- Handling and stacking fresh oil pallets
- Managing waste oil barrels, including moving and positioning them correctly
- Assisting drivers with loading and unloading vehicles
- Ensuring stock is stored safely and in line with health and safety procedures
- Regular manual handling is required
- Some oil barrels can be up to 100 litres
- The role involves a mix of FLT work and physical warehouse tasks throughout the day
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse or FLT experience
