Manpower Engineering are looking for a number of Flux Core Welders to work on the refit of a marine vessel at Rosyth Docks.
Location: Rosyth, Scotland
Rate:
- Basic - £27.02 per hour
- Overtime - £41.11 per hour
- Radius Payment: £45 per night if you live outside of a 30 mile radius (capped at 5 nights)
Hours: 6 x 12 hour shifts - Overtime will be paid after 36 hours
Project: Refit on an Aircraft Carrier coming into dock for a 6-month duration.
Role Overview: You will be responsible for performing repairs on an operational vessel during its scheduled docking period. This work will primarily involve butt and fillet welding of load rings, brackets, and hull anodes - mainly using carbon steel, with a smaller portion requiring stainless steel welding.
Key Requirements:
- Apprentice-trained Welder with Flux Core experience
- Experience in shipbuilding or marine environments is highly advantageous
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and working to tight schedules
- You must be a UK Citizen and be able to pass SC Clearance Vetting
