Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver - Exeter

Our client is seeking a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring that inventory is accurately logged, stored, and maintained., * Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload pallets of goods using a forklift, ensuring proper handling and storage.

• Inventory Management: Log all pallets into and out of the storage area using predefined paperwork and handheld scanners.

• Storage Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storage areas, adhering to housekeeping standards.

• Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack items as required, ensuring attention to detail in order fulfilment.

• Off-loading: Assist with off-loading shipping containers, including ramp and loose-filled items.

• Communication: Liaise with the Storage Supervisor regarding pallet deliveries and collections.

• Stock Control Support: Aid in stock control duties as needed to maintain inventory accuracy.

• Self-Motivation: Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong self-motivation and initiative.

• Additional Duties: Support the Storage Manager with various tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
