Manpower are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician for one of our clients in the Thorne area!
This role is working Monday to Friday starting at 6am until finish.
Duties –
- Inspecting vehicles to NEW, AUC and BVRLA standards, using mobile computer technology.
- Take high quality images of damage as required, dependant on customer inspection standard, review images to confirm quality of customers\’ expectations.
- Communicate with several internal and external partners to ensure vehicles are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Have the ability to identify damage and previous repairs and applying the correct repair method autonomously.
- Loading work into the correct work areas and apportioning the costs to the correct responsibility.
- Handle all Inspection equipment in a safe and proper manner. Provide a professional level of customer service to both internal and external customers, this includes carrying out demonstrations of inspection process during calibrations.
- Liaise closely with site personnel and maintain regular contact with line manager.
- Remain up to date on customer inspection process and standards.
- Take care and responsibility of all vehicles in your care, reporting immediately any accidents.
- Carry out other duties as requested by line manager.

The pay rate is £14.08 per hour.
