Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily transport plans and conduct driver pre-shift briefings.
- Coordinate transport operations to ensure customer and company requirements are met.
- Manage the effective use of fleet vehicles and subcontractors while controlling costs.
- Produce daily customer KPI reports and volume calculations.
- Execute transport plans and make operational adjustments to minimise stock shortages.
- Ensure compliance with Working Time Directive regulations and company procedures.
- Record and report all accidents and incidents promptly.
- Act as the first point of contact for drivers and provide operational support throughout the shift.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a fast-paced transport or logistics environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a busy operational setting.
