Job Purpose / Overview
An opportunity exists for a Technical Author within the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA) based at Gloucester Business Park. The successful applicant will provide support to training activities aligned to specific work areas, covering the oversight and implementation of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
Nature and Scope
This role will provide technical administrative support to the NSA Knowledge Worker Common Competency project (KWCC). You will be:
- Interacting and communicating with key stakeholders within the training and development programme
- Ensuring documents are in the correct templates
- Reviewing and progressing document reviews
- Uploading documents into the document management systems
Principal Accountabilities
- Secure document reference numbers
- Liaise with line and training instructors to ensure mentor guides are transferred onto latest template & gaps populated.
- Upload documents into document management systems - TeamCentre & AMS and chase route list until published.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and our document management system.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Extremely organised and the ability to prioritise
- Demonstrates a positive and proactive attitude
- Works well independently; using their initiative and within a team
