My client, a multi-national Aerospace & Defence organisation, are looking for a Software Integration Engineer to be based out of their Christchurch site in Dorset.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building and configuring Windows Server 2019/2022 and Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  • Integration and configuration of COTS and bespoke software.
  • Adherence to software engineering practices.
  • Fault finding and resolution of issues in a production environment to a successful conclusion.
  • Producing clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Collaboration with other members of the team: sharing knowledge and peer reviewing others' work.
  • Reporting on progress and providing feedback to team members and leadership.
  • Occasional travel to customer sites to support deployment, investigations and testing.

Skills & Experience:

  • You'll be able to use PowerShell and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit to install and configure COTS and bespoke software on Windows 10 and Server 2019.
  • You'll have knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and MDT alternate deployment approaches for deploying Windows 11 and Server 2022 (desirable).
  • You'll have knowledge and experience of Group Policy and Active Directory.
  • You'll be able to produce clear technical documentation.
