My client, a multi-national Aerospace & Defence organisation, are looking for a Software Integration Engineer to be based out of their Christchurch site in Dorset.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and configuring Windows Server 2019/2022 and Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Integration and configuration of COTS and bespoke software.
- Adherence to software engineering practices.
- Fault finding and resolution of issues in a production environment to a successful conclusion.
- Producing clear and concise technical documentation.
- Collaboration with other members of the team: sharing knowledge and peer reviewing others' work.
- Reporting on progress and providing feedback to team members and leadership.
- Occasional travel to customer sites to support deployment, investigations and testing.
Skills & Experience:
- You'll be able to use PowerShell and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit to install and configure COTS and bespoke software on Windows 10 and Server 2019.
- You'll have knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and MDT alternate deployment approaches for deploying Windows 11 and Server 2022 (desirable).
- You'll have knowledge and experience of Group Policy and Active Directory.
- You'll be able to produce clear technical documentation.
