NDT Tester (GWO Certified) - Wind Turbines Central & North Scotland Immediate Starts £50 per hour (DOE) Accommodation: Paid accommodation Monday to Friday The Opportunity We are currently seeking experienced NDT Testers with valid GWO certification to support an ongoing inspection programme across wind farms in Central and North Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the renewable energy sector, carrying out critical inspections on hydraulic accumulators installed on wind turbines.
Scope of Work The successful candidates will be responsible for: Conducting Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT) on accessible pressure-retaining surfaces. Performing Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and/or Dye Penetrant Testing (DPI) on accessible welds and nominated suspect areas. Accurately recording, documenting, and reporting NDT findings for each accumulator inspected. Ensuring all inspections are completed in accordance with relevant industry standards and site safety requirements.
Requirements
Proven experience as an NDT Tester. Valid GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certification. Certification in relevant NDT methods (UTT, MPI and/or DPI). Experience working on wind turbines or within the renewable energy sector is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
