Manpower are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced, driven and knowledgeable QA Specialist to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team to ensure world-class standards across their global supply chain.
Location: Humberside/ North Lincolnshire (with international travel as required)
Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (Flexibility required to meet business needs)
About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of, mainly, pelagic fish products from dock to distribution. Working across international supply routes, you will ensure products consistently meet high standards, exceed customer expectations, and reduce post-sale escalations.
You will:
- Monitor and refine quality control procedures across the global transport and delivery chain.
- Conduct quality assessments of pelagic fish such as Ling, Mackerel, and Pollock; however, other types such as Tuna, Herring and Sardines will also be included.
- Evaluate and condition-score fish based on photographic evidence, both pre- and post-transportation.
- Support strategic development within the Quality Department to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide hands-on support during claims or issues, including out-of-hours and on-call availability when needed.
