Production Operative (Engineering) Location: Warwick Shifts: 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm, rotating weekly and early finish Friday Pay: Β£15.05 p/h If you take pride in getting things right the first time, this is a hands-on role where your attention to detail directly supports the safe, accurate assembly of hydraulic hoses for industrial and mobile applications. Our Client is hiring for a reputed client looking for someone who can work to standard instructions, spot defects early, and keep production moving with quality at the heart of every batch. What you'll be doing: * Fit and assemble hydraulic hoses, including attaching hose ends and crimp assemblies * Cut raw hose to length and check for defects such as damage or flattening * Regularly verify set dimensions against work instructions * Follow Standard Work instructions set by Production Supervision, working with minimum supervision * Complete and sign works orders at the end of each batch to confirm completion * Record any test failures and raise quality issues when needed * Support LEAN activities and contribute to problem-solving and team board updates * Work safely in hose assembly and test areas, following 5S practices * Carry out Basic Total Preventative Maintenance as required What you'll bring: * Recent or previous experience in a similar production/assembly position * Ability to read and follow written standard work instructions * Numeracy and confidence using gauges, including reading a vernier * A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving * Self-motivation and the ability to use your own initiative within set procedures * An understanding of safe working practices and a quality-focused mindset Ready to join a role where precision, safety and teamwork matter every day?
