We are currently looking to recruit multiple Machine Operators to join our global business based south of Cambridge. You will be joining at an exciting time as our client looks to increase production across their product lines, increasing their total production headcount.

Main duties:

  • Constructively report machine, material, or documentation faults.
  • Efficiently and effectively carry out the allocated process.
  • Maintain clear and accurate stock and process records.
  • Perform quality checks on products during manufacturing stages.

Our market-leading client, based just south of Cambridge, is looking to expand their current production team due to increased demand. A global leader in advanced materials technology, this company has been established for decades and has pioneered numerous advances within their field.

Full training will be provided, though previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment is advantageous. A driving license and own transport are required due to the remote location of the depot.

These roles involve working around 12-hour shifts, averaging 12 shifts a month with rest periods as long as 8 days between shifts (approximately 6-7 night shifts per month). Overtime is regularly available and paid at 1.5x or 2.0x the regular rate depending on the shift.
