Our client in Devonport is a leading engineering and maritime organisation specialising in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of naval vessels. The site operates with a skilled workforce across mechanical, electrical, and technical disciplines, delivering high-quality and complex engineering projects. The purpose

Join a delivery-focused engineering team supporting major dock and berth infrastructure improvements at Devonport. In this role, you'll bridge design and construction for infills, demolition and trials-helping ensure the as-built outcomes are safe, compliant, and deliver the capability stakeholders need.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate site queries and engineering clarifications
  • Review inspection reports and raise actions, including NCRs where needed
  • Manage TQs/CRs, and review ITPs/ITCs for compliance
  • Review RAMS, Temporary Works, and relevant approvals
  • Support material approvals (MARS) and limited surveillance aligned to ITP/ITCs
  • Capture Learning from Experience for designers

What you'll bring:

  • Knowledge of design and substantiation of heavy civil engineering and building structures to relevant seismic codes for satisfying Nuclear Safety Functions; particular experience in dock structures preferred;
  • Experience of construction techniques employed for Nuclear Safety related structures and buildings.
  • Experience of major infrastructure delivery at a Nuclear Licenced Site
