Are you looking to build your career within an innovative manufacturing environment focused on advanced battery technology? We are seeking a Battery LV Build Technician to join our team in Banbury, supporting the assembly of battery systems for industrial applications.
Reporting to the Lead Technician, you will play a key role on the battery assembly line, following established production processes and work instructions to manufacture battery systems to exceptionally high standards of quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
Working closely with the Lead Technician, you will help ensure products are delivered in line with agreed production schedules while maintaining a strong focus on quality and compliance. You will be responsible for:
- Completing accurate build documentation
- Adhering to strict quality standards
- Promoting health, safety and environmental best practices throughout the manufacturing area
- Identifying, logging and reporting faults or build issues
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
- Supporting a variety of programmes and business activities as required
The successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable and capable of using their initiative to resolve issues quickly and effectively. Strong communication skills and a flexible approach to work are essential, as you will collaborate with colleagues across the wider manufacturing team to achieve production objectives.
Previous manufacturing experience is required, and experience within a battery manufacturing environment would be advantageous, although not essential. Basic PC skills are also desirable.
