Job Responsibilities
Carry out plumbing repairs and installations across domestic and commercial properties.
Diagnose faults efficiently and complete remedial work to a high standard.
Install, maintain, and repair pipework, taps, showers, toilets, and associated plumbing systems.
Undertake maintenance tasks including leak detection, isolations, and system checks.
Ensure all work complies with relevant UK regulations, safety standards, and best practice.
Complete job documentation accurately, including basic records of work carried out.
Provide friendly, professional customer service and explain work clearly where required.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and follow site safety procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Plumber, with strong fault-finding and repair skills.
Knowledge of UK plumbing systems and an understanding of relevant regulations.
Ability to read and interpret basic plumbing plans, drawings, and specifications.
Competence with common plumbing tools and equipment, including hand tools and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work to a high standard.
Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet job deadlines.
Relevant plumbing qualifications (for example, NVQ or City & Guilds) are desirable.
Valid driving licence is beneficial, depending on the role requirements.
