HGV Technician Manpower is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Technician to join their established team in Newmarket on a permanent contract. You may already be an experienced HGV Technician, or perhaps a Car/Van Technician looking to broaden your skills and transition into the HGV industry. Carrying out routine inspections and repairs to DVSA standards. Diagnosing faults using computer technology and mechanical expertise. Servicing and repairing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and timescales, including gearboxes, brakes, and suspension systems. Participating in the Service Van rota. Ensuring all company, franchise, Health & Safety, Environmental, and ISO policies and standards are adhered to. Flexible approach to work with a strong work ethic. Willingness to undertake further training and development. City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance preferred. Comfortable using computer-based diagnostic systems.
