Manpower is recruiting for a temporary Production Operative to work for our client, based in Musselburgh. You will work within the factory on the production line packing food products, cleaning equipment and completing some general warehousing duties. Initially a temporary role but could lead to a longer term booking for the right candidate based on performance and experience.
Hours and Benefits
- Monday to Friday Dayshift 07:30 β 16:00 (15:00 finish on a Friday)
- Β£12.21 per hour β weekly pay

Responsibilities
- Check products for quality on the production line and remove defective items
- Keep machines supplied with packaging materials and labels
- Load products to pallets for distribution
- Pick and pack orders
- Load products onto pallets (heavy lifting may be involved)
- Tidy and general housekeeping of warehouse and production areas
Qualifications
- Good observational skills to spot defective products
- Patience to carry out repetitive tasks
- Ability to work quickly to meet production targets
- Good team working skills and ability to work on your own
- Follow strict health and safety guidelines and quality procedures
- At least 6 months experience in a food production or warehousing position
