Manpower are looking to recruit a Class 1 driver (C+E) to work at one of the largest confectionery distributors in the UK, based in the York area. The ideal candidate must be flexible and be able to work various shifts: days, nights, nights away, and shunting. There will be weekend work also, working on average 2 to 4 shifts per week.
This is an ad hoc requirement to cover extra workload, holidays, and sickness, so we can't guarantee regular hours. We are looking for a driver that can work any required shifts (days, nights, trunking, shunting) and be fully flexible.
- Night Drive £22.00
- Meal Allowance up to £10
- Min of 6 hours paid per shift
- On average 8 to 12 hours shifts
There are various aspects of the role; you will be expected to drive, load, and unload if needs be, and there will be some shunting work involved. This vacancy is on a temporary but long-term ongoing basis.
To be considered for this role, you must have 12 months + Class 1 experience and have no more than 3 points on your licence - no disqualifications will be accepted. The successful candidate will be put forward for a 3-hour assessment/induction on site followed by 3 days of training.
Weekly pay, PAYE, 28 days holiday per year, Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme.
