Salary: £27,500 – £29,000 per annum
Manpower is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our client\’s Laboratory Chemicals Division (LCD) based in Inchinnan, Paisley. This is a temporary and ongoing opportunity, ideal for someone looking to grow their marketing career in a global business environment.
This role will be based onsite initially, with hybrid working available once training is complete.
About the Role
As the LCD Marketing Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting the marketing team in the delivery of global campaigns and divisional marketing projects. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with 1+ years\’ marketing experience looking to build their skills and experience within a world-leading scientific organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering marketing plans aligned with key customer segments and business goals
Support global marketing campaigns, including managing smaller independent projects
Maintain and update marketing content systems
Provide day-to-day support in managing internal marketing systems and processes
Perform general administrative duties to support marketing operations
Take agendas and detailed meeting notes, following up on key actions
Assist in creating engaging messaging and materials aligned to the company\’s brand and value propositions
Contribute to lead generation and sales activation programs
Track and report on marketing metrics and campaign performance
Receive training on invoice processing as part of long-term development
About You
Education & Experience:
A recent graduate in Marketing, Business, Chemistry or a related discipline OR
1+ years of marketing experience in a professional environment
Key Skills:
Strong interest in pursuing a career in marketing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Basic understanding of marketing analytics or performance tracking
Flexibility to travel occasionally (up to 5%)
