Brook Street are looking for a Legal Assistant to join a busy, well established and highly respected full service law practice supporting both individuals and businesses across multiple East Midlands locations.

This role requires previous experience within a law firm, ideally within the property sector, with confidence supporting fee earners across a wide range of administrative and client focused tasks.
Key Responsibilities include:
Providing high quality secretarial support to the property team
Preparing and amending legal documents and correspondence
Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and handling telephone enquiries
Opening and closing files, conducting Land Registry searches, and completing SDLT forms
Preparing Completion Statements and handling invoicing
Liaising with clients and third parties
Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard in line with firm procedures
You as the new Legal Assistant will have:
Previous experience as a legal secretary within a law firm is essential
Experience within a property department is highly desirable
Strong typing and document production skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
Confident communication skills and a proactive approach
Ability to manage time effectively and work well under pressure
Details:
Mansfield, Head Office
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm (1-hour lunch)
Β£25,500 per annum
