Vehicle Emissions & EV Range Test Technician – Contract Role Location: Cranfield Pay: Up to £19 per hour Contract Length: 12 months Are you a hands-on technician with a knack for vehicle emissions and EV testing? Operate chassis dynamometers and perform on-road testing. Analyze emissions data and ensure instrumentation is calibrated. Work with vehicle systems, fault-finding, and disassembly/reassembly. Set up instrumentation and diagnostic tools for data acquisition. What We’re Looking For: Practical mechanical/electrical skills and the ability to work safely. Experience with emissions systems like Horiba or AVL. Strong vehicle system knowledge and diagnostic skills. Minimum C&G/BTEC Level 3 qualification (preferably in mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering) with an apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
