Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced
CAD Technician
to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CAD professional with a strong engineering background and experience using
SolidWorks
to play a key role in the design and development of engineering projects. You'll be working on a variety of bespoke engineering solutions, with many projects being supplied to clients across the globe, offering exposure to large-scale international work.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using SolidWorks Develop and modify designs in line with customer and project requirements Liaise with engineering and production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable Maintain accurate technical documentation and drawing records Support projects from concept through to manufacture Ensure designs meet customer specifications and industry standards
Requirements
Degree, HND or HNC in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or a related discipline Proven experience using
SolidWorks Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organisational skills
