Location: Llanelli
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £28,996 per annum
Hours of work: An average of 40.75 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, plus a Saturday morning (average weekly hours rise to 43.25).
Are you a Class 2 driver who takes pride in safe, professional deliveries and great customer service? We are recruiting on behalf of our client - an established, busy branch team in Swansea - for a reliable, customer-focused LGV Driver to join their friendly operation.
What you'll be doing:
- Transport goods to customers safely and on time, delivering with excellent service
- Complete daily vehicle checks and keep accurate records
- Ensure safe loading, securing and unloading of goods
- Operate a vehicle-mounted hi-ab crane after training
- Maintain a clean and tidy, road-ready vehicle
- Support the branch/yard operations when not driving to keep deliveries running smoothly
- Assist customers and provide product support when needed
- Follow all health & safety, driving and company procedures
What you'll bring:
- A valid LGV Class 2 driving licence
- Driver CPC and relevant qualifications
- Hi-ab crane operation experience is required
- A professional, polite, and helpful manner with customers
- Strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy
- Willingness to assist in the yard and warehouse when not on the road
- Forklift licence is desirable (or openness to training where applicable)
