Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality catering service that meets the needs of students, staff, and visitors across the Trust.
- Ensure all meals meet the nutritional standards and requirements for school-aged children.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation, portion control, and service quality.
- Prepare, cook, and serve food in accordance with agreed menus and Trust guidelines.
- Support the development of healthy, appealing menu options.
- Ensure allergen information is accurately followed and communicated.
- Ensure full compliance with Food Hygiene Regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and all relevant Trust policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment at all times.
- Conduct and record all required checks, including: Temperature logs, Cleaning schedules, Allergen documentation, Equipment safety checks.
- Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership to kitchen staff.
- Allocate duties, support training, and maintain positive team performance.
- Ensure all staff follow established procedures and uphold Trust standards.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive working environment.
