Overview of the role:
The CommOps Human Performance Specialist will play a pivotal role ensuring our people understand and utilise Human Performance (HU) tools to keep themselves and others safe. The role involves researching best practice, designing and delivering the Human Performance programme for CommOps from now through to operations. The role holder will collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to build the programme ensuring it's engaging, innovative and impactful.
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:
- Benchmark and research best practice for designing and implementing an impactful Human Performance programme (working with internal and external stakeholders and experts e.g. WANO, IAEA, INPO, EDF Nuclear Operations and teams within CommOps)
- Designing and deliver the Human Performance approach/programme for CommOps now through to Operations
- Design and deliver a HU Leadership programme
- Create/revise HU Documentation to the right standards with the best practice incorporated
- Review the current HU training and CommOps Induction and collaboration with the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA) to make improvements where needed to drive impact
- Design and deliver an engagement plan to launch the Human Performance programme, raising awareness and focus on the ten tools
- Deliver a consistent approach across CommOps for Procedural Use & Adherence in line with the HPC project ways of working and standards
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing and developing HU programmes
- Experience of working on an operational Nuclear Power Station (Essential)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels
