What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Championing health & safety policies and ensuring full compliance with legal and company standards
  • Advising employees on safe practices and minimising risk across site operations
  • Conducting site safety inspections, emergency drills, and supporting statutory audits
  • Coordinating training, toolbox talks, and upskilling sessions for staff
  • Leading first aid procedures and emergency preparedness
  • Supporting facilities administration, liaising with contractors and managing maintenance works
  • Reporting and tracking accidents, near misses, and corrective actions
  • Working closely with key departments to create and maintain a safe working environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar Health & Safety role within manufacturing, logistics, or FMCG
  • Strong understanding of H&S legislation (e.g. Health & Safety at Work Act 1974)
  • Confident communicator, capable of influencing at all levels
  • IOSH or NEBOSH-qualified (or working toward it)
  • Experience handling facilities tasks and contractor liaison is highly desirable
  • A proactive, organised mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
  • First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • 5-day on-site role - due to the nature of the business and cross-functional team collaboration
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
