We are currently seeking 3 interim Hairdressers (Salon Assessors) to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based at our client’s scientific Research & Development facility in Port Sunlight Village, Wirral easily accessible by train and car. This is a full-time, temporary role for 12 months (with the possibility of extension), working 37.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying £24,706 per annum (£12.67 per hour) depending upon experience.
The Role:
You will be supporting the evaluation of hair products on consumers or mannequin heads within a modern and well-equipped salon. You will work both creatively and technically to help develop new hair products.
Qualifications / Experience:
You will need have experience in hairdressing, be passionate about hair trends, have strong hair product knowledge and be skilled in modern techniques. We are looking for stylists who are qualified to NVQ level 2 or 3. As well as the above experience, you will need to have excellent IT skills and communication skills (both written and verbal), be a team player with a flexible and positive outlook and be confident enough to present demo work. This is a great opportunity to use your skills and experience in a role that is different to the normal retail salon environment.
