My client is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of high-pressure gas cylinders based in Colwick, seeking a dedicated and reliable Forklift Driver to join the team. The role involves working a 3 rotating shift schedule, with all shifts needing to be covered:
- Mon-Fri 0600-1400
- 1400-2200
- 2200-0600
There is a shift allowance on days/afters of £14.10 per day and £20.10 per day on nights, which increases the hourly rate.
As a Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include managing inventory, handling goods, and ensuring that materials are available to meet production needs. Please note this role is a 60/40 split; you will be on the forklift 60% of the time and manually lifting and shifting 40% of the time while assisting other operatives on site with various roles in production.
