Process Team Leader - Powder Coatings
Location: Farnham
Salary: £35,724 per annum (£32,160 basic salary + £3,564 annual shift allowance paid over 12 months)
Hours: Rotating shifts - 6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm

The Role
We're recruiting a Process Team Leader to join a busy and well-established powder coatings manufacturer based in Farnham. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supporting daily production operations, coordinating team activities, and ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently achieved.
Working closely with the Production Manager, you'll lead a team of Operators across the manufacturing process, providing guidance, support, and direction while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Operators to achieve daily production targets
- Allocate labour and delegate tasks effectively across the shift
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to team members
- Conduct shift handovers and communicate key information between shifts
- Report maintenance issues promptly to the Engineering team
- Monitor production performance and resolve operational issues as they arise
- Ensure all health & safety procedures and company policies are followed
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the production area
- Support and develop team members through coaching, mentoring, and training
- Identify training needs and assist in workforce development
- Provide regular feedback and updates to management
- Ensure quality control checks and product specifications are consistently met
About You
- Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor, or senior production role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and support a team
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of health & safety requirements within manufacturing
- Committed to maintaining high standards of quality and productivity
