The successful candidate will take ownership of projects, leading design teams and working alongside creative professionals with a shared goal of design excellence. The role involves working on complex projects of varying size and scale, from concept through to on-site delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate multi-discipline design teams.
- Deliver projects from concept, through detailed design, to on-site completion.
- Ensure design coordination, interface resolution, and clash detection across teams.
- Advise on materials selection, specifications, and detailed design solutions.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy in all project outputs.
- Mentor and support professional development of team members.
- RIBA Part 3 qualification or CIAT accreditation.
- 5-10 years' experience on complex projects across multiple sectors.
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and the RIBA Plan of Work.
- Experience working directly with clients and contractors while leading design teams.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; experience with collaboration software (e.g., Navisworks) desirable.
- Knowledge of BIM model federation, model checking, clash/interface management, and on-site project coordination.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and positive attitude.
- Effective team player, consistently contributing to project success.
BPSS required for this role.
