The Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrician with proven EICR testing experience to carry out electrical and remedial works across our Housing Association properties. This is a key role to ensure tenant safety, compliance, and quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct EICR inspections and ensure all electrical work complies with current regulations.
- Perform routine testing, maintenance, and remedial works on Housing Association properties.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and efficiently.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems to a high standard.
- Complete accurate EICR certification and maintain detailed records.
- Deliver excellent customer service to tenants, addressing concerns promptly.
- Work collaboratively with other engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
What You'll Need
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 in Inspection & Testing (preferred).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Proven EICR and electrical testing experience.
- Housing association or similar experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
