This is a unique opportunity to join a company with a rich history and globally recognised for the exceptional quality of its products. What you'll be doing:
- Maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of electrical equipment, including circuit systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.
- Assist with service calls and respond to equipment issues during your shift.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure production goals are met.
- Support mechanical maintenance activities and broaden your skillset.
- Champion safety standards, report near misses, and promote best practices.
- Use diagnostic tools and logic interpretation to resolve control system issues.
- Maintain records via our SAP Maintenance System and ensure all documentation is up to date.
You will work a 12.5-hour rotating shift pattern that alternates between days and nights:
- Week 1: 4 shifts
- Week 2: 3 shifts
- Week 3: 5 shifts
- Week 4: 2 shifts
This flexible shift pattern is designed to balance your work and personal time while ensuring round-the-clock support for operations.
Requirements:
- Qualified to ONC/C&G Part III or HNC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (apprenticeship trained).
- Experience in a process or production environment, preferably within FMCG or a similar sector.
- Strong knowledge of PLC control systems (Allen Bradley preferred), SCADA, instrumentation, and 415v motor control circuits.
- A proactive mindset with a high level of accountability.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to influence and collaborate across teams.
- A continuous improvement attitude - you're always looking for smarter, safer, and more efficient ways to work.
- Fluent in English.
