We're seeking an experienced and qualified HGV Workshop Mechanic to join a respected logistics company based in Droitwich. The business operates several depots across the UK and is recognised for delivering reliable, high-quality transport and logistics solutions. As part of a busy and well-equipped workshop, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of a modern fleet of Mercedes and DAF HGVs, as well as tri-axle trailers. This role offers excellent long-term stability and the chance to work within a supportive, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on HGVs and trailers
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
- Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, compliant, and meet DVSA standards
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a small workshop team
- Maintain accurate records and complete all job-related documentation
- Follow all Health & Safety policies and promote safe working practices
Working Hours
Monday to Friday (rotating shifts): Week 1: 06:00 - 14:30, Week 2: 12:00 - 20:30, Alternate Saturdays: 07:00 - 12:00, On-call rota: Additional payment provided
