About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager who can lead teams, drive efficiency, maintain client relationships, and ensure all projects are completed to the highest standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating resources, managing staff and equipment, and ensuring the smooth delivery of a wide range of services including industrial cleaning, power washing, gardening, window cleaning, and working at height using cherry pickers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee company tools, equipment, and vehicle fleet.
- Coordinate and monitor daily job schedules and workforce allocation.
- Ensure all jobs are completed efficiently and signed off correctly.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Supervise operational activities across:
- Gardening services
- Window cleaning
- Industrial cleaning
- Power washing
- Cherry picker operations
- Promote and implement positive workflows and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Monitor team performance and support staff development.
- Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience managing teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to build strong customer and employee relationships.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Experience within cleaning, facilities management, grounds maintenance, or a similar industry is desirable.
- Full driving licence preferred.
