A well-established flooring distribution company is seeking Class 2 (CAT C) Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join their team in Strood. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy manual handling, including lifting, unloading carpets and flooring products, and handballing pallet goods.
Drivers will be responsible for delivering flooring products to retail stores, high street locations, and customer lock-ups (key access provided). This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term career stability and progression.
Key Responsibilities:- Completing 15-22 multi-drop deliveries per day across Kent & Sussex
- Lifting and unloading carpets and flooring products
- Handballing pallet goods and manually handling flooring products to ensure safe delivery
- Using a winch system to assist with moving heavier loads
- Delivering to curbside or assisting with placement at the customer's preferred location
- Conducting daily vehicle checks, weekly vehicle washes, and ensuring all paperwork/PODs are completed accurately
- Driving responsibly, adhering to all traffic and working time regulations
- Liaising with customers to ensure excellent service
- Adhering to Health & Safety policies and all road safety regulations
- Job & Finish - work efficiently and finish once deliveries are complete
- Monday to Friday schedule - no weekends or bank holidays
