Manpower are looking to recruit a Class 1 driver (C+E) to work at one of the largest confectionary distributors in the UK, based in the York area. The ideal candidate must be flexible and be able to work various shifts: days, nights, nights away, and shunting. There will be weekend work also, working on average 2 to 4 shifts per week.
We are looking for a driver that can work any required shifts (days, nights, trunking, shunting) and be fully flexible.
- Pay rates:
- Day Drive: £19.68
- Night Drive: £20.45
- Shunting: £21.41
- Meal Allowance: £10
Min of 6 hours paid per shift. On average, 8 to 12 hours shifts.
There are various aspects of the role; you will be expected to drive, load, and unload if needs be. There will also be some shunting work involved, which includes heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, and twisting to move things around.
This vacancy is on a temporary but long-term ongoing basis. To be considered for this role, you must have 18 months + Class 1 experience and have no more than 3 points on your licence - no disqualifications will be accepted. The successful candidate will be put forward for a 3-hour assessment/induction on site followed by 3 days of training.
Induction and training - paid. Weekly pay PAYE. 28 Days holiday per year. Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme. Additional Extras.
