Job Description Press Brake Operator / Setter Pay: £13.00 per hour Hours: 37.5 per week Working Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Location: Lichfield Job role: \n We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator / Setter to join a busy production team in Lichfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating Amada press brakes, producing components accurately and efficiently to engineering drawings and required quality standards. Key Responsibilities as the new Press Brake Operator / Setter: \n \n Set and operate Amada press brake machines \n Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately \n Select and set correct tooling for each job \n Carry out bending and forming operations to required specifications and tolerances \n Check completed components using appropriate measuring equipment \n Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and accuracy \n Ensure components meet drawing and customer requirements \n Work efficiently to production schedules and priorities \n Identify and report any quality or production issues \n Perform basic machine checks and maintain a clean, safe working area \n Follow all health & safety and security procedures \n Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets \n \n Skills & Experience \n Essential: \n \n Previous experience operating and setting press brake machines \n Experience using Amada press brakes \n Ability to read and understand engineering drawings \n Good understanding of measurements, tolerances and specifications \n Ability to work accurately and independently \n Strong attention to detail \n Good awareness of health & safety in a manufacturing environment \n British citizenship (due to MOD related security requirements) \n \n Desirable: \n \n Experience within sheet metal or fabrication \n Experience using verniers, micrometers, angle gauges \n Experience working with various materials and thicknesses \n \n Personal Attributes \n \n Reliable and punctual \n Quality focused \n Practical and methodical \n Able to work independently and as part of a team \n Flexible and supportive of wider production needs \n Able to comply with confidentiality and security requirements associated with MOD work \n \n For more information please contact Ellen or Chloe. \n If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website. \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
