Manpower is currently recruiting for a Warehouse/FLT driver to join our globally recognised client based south of Cambridge.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading organisation during an exciting period of growth. The successful candidate will become part of a busy Stores and Warehouse team, with the potential for a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
To be successful in this role, you must hold:
- A valid external FLT licence, either:CounterbalanceReach Truck
- Previous warehouse or stores experience is desirable
- A strong commitment to health and safety
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily safety checks on equipment and vehicles
- Receive, unload and store deliveries safely and efficiently
- Check deliveries for damaged or missing items
- Quality check products and materials
- Operate Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck FLTs safely and effectively
- Load and dispatch goods accurately
- Deliver materials to production lines in line with operational requirements
- Pick and prepare orders for dispatch
- Conduct stock counts as required
- Ensure all lifting and manual handling activities are carried out safely
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Follow all company health, safety and environmental procedures
