Manpower has a fantastic new opportunity for the right candidate to become a Business Analyst, working with our client, a FTSE 100 Credit Card Company based in Burgess Hill. This role sits within the Network & Settlement Operations team and is part of GMNS (Global Merchant & Network Services), which acts on behalf of the enterprise to support, develop, enable products and capabilities for the business.
The team is primarily responsible for managing the daily exposure between the business and Partners, ensuring settlements are timely and accurate. The objective of the Network & ATM Settlement Operations team is to provide an exceptional service & operational experience to Business Partners, plus key stakeholders, by establishing itself as a centre of excellence spread across two locations, operating as one team in India and the UK.
The role has key daily operational tasks as well as problem solving and process development.
Responsibilities Include:
- Management and technical support of a financial settlement exposure tracking tool
- Completion of daily operational tasks to minimise settlement risk
- Ensure automated file feeds between exposure tracking tool and bank provider / GNS Platforms operate as expected and take ownership to resolve any issues
- Identify and evaluate further opportunities to improve processes
- Support relationships with critical system vendors
- Responsible for pulling together and tracking performance metrics for Settlement Operations using Excel
- Using NetworkForce, the case management tool, to analyse trends and eliminate root-causes to drive Partner satisfaction
- Ensure participation in new deal handovers with Global Deal Implementation team and work closely with the Operational Deployment Manager to ensure new deals are correctly set up
- Support both internal and external Audit reviews
Qualifications:
- Experience with Autorek will be an advantage
- Sound, strong understanding of the GNS Business model and network processes
- High degree of analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated and results driven with the ability to work without supervision and demonstrate teamwork as required
- Must have a customer mindset and be passionate about customer satisfaction
- Proven ability in creating and managing reporting and tracking
- Strong Excel skills, experience of using/creating Macros
