We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Inspector to join a busy automotive operation based in Avonmouth. This is a great opportunity for someone with good mechanical awareness who takes pride in delivering high standards of quality and safety.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out thorough inspections on vehicles prior to customer handover, ensuring they meet company, safety, and manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out detailed pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on a range of vehicles
- Check vehicles for mechanical issues, damage, missing parts, or cosmetic defects
- Ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards before release
- Accurately complete inspection checklists and related documentation
- Report any faults, defects, or concerns promptly to the relevant department
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Good mechanical knowledge or previous experience in a similar role (e.g. PDI Inspector, Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Checker)
- Strong attention to detail and high quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Β£13.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday schedule - no weekends
- 07:00 - 16:30 working hours
- Ongoing training provided
