Job Description EstimatorLocation: BlaenavonSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annumJob Type: Full Time, PermanentManpower is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced Estimator to join their team.
The successful candidate will also take a leading role in developing the company's spare parts sales division, building relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
Working within a specialist engineering environment, you'll support projects supplied to clients across the Middle East and other international markets.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for engineering projectsReview customer specifications and technical requirementsLiaise with customers, suppliers, engineering and production teams to develop competitive proposalsFollow up quotations and build strong customer relationshipsLead and grow the spare parts sales side of the businessIdentify opportunities for repeat business and upselling spare parts and servicesMaintain quotation records and sales activity using internal systemsSupport the wider commercial team in achieving sales targetsRequirementsPrevious experience in an Estimator, Quotations, Internal Sales, Sales Engineer, or Commercial Engineering roleExperience preparing quotations within an engineering or manufacturing environmentStrong commercial awareness and customer service skillsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsConfident using Microsoft Office and CRM systemsOrganised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyWhat's on Offer?
