Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from drayage, global freight forwarding & full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
Please note this is a multidrop role where most shifts you will carry out 8 to 10 drops. Please only apply if you are comfortable doing this.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver goods to hospitals in and around the area.
- Items can vary from shower trays to biochemicals (e.g. bleach, cleaning products), either palletised or in small boxes.
- Use powered pump trucks and tail lifts (training provided).
- Safely operate the vehicle and adhere to standards and safety protocols.
- Handle deliveries using tail lifts and pallet trucks where FLTs aren't available.
- Full UK driving licence.
- ADR preferred however not necessary.
- No more than six penalty points on your driving licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Strong knowledge of the UK road network.
